Vietnam beat Indonesia 3-0 in a Group B match of the 2017 ASEAN Football Federation (AFF) U18 Championship held in Myanmar on September 11.

Hanoi (VNA) – Vietnam beat Indonesia 3-0 in a GroupB match of the 2017 ASEAN Football Federation (AFF) U18 Championship held inMyanmar on September 11.

Two of the goals were scored by Van Nam whilethe other was made by Viet Anh.

With this third win, Vietnam’s U18 football teamhas nine points, consolidating its top place in Group B thanks to better goaldifference than Indonesia.

At a match with the hosts Myanmar two dayslater, Vietnam will only need a draw to enter the semi-finals of the regionaltourney.

Earlier, the team had thrashed Brunei 8-1 andthe Philippines 5-0.

At the tournament, U18 Vietnam is in the samegroup with Indonesia, Brunei, the Philippines, New Zealand and Myanmar.-VNA
