Vietnam congratulates Indonesia on successful elections
Vietnamese leaders on April 19 offered congratulations to Indonesia on its successful organisation of the presidential election and the parliamentary election.

Hanoi (VNA) – Vietnamese leaders on April 19 offered congratulations to Indonesiaon its successful organisation of the presidential election and theparliamentary election.
Party General Secretary and State PresidentNguyen Phu Trong and Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc sent congratulatorymessages to Indonesian President Joko Widodo.
The same day, Deputy Prime Minister and ForeignMinister Pham Binh Minh extended congratulations to Indonesian Foreign MinisterRetno Marsudi.
In their messages, the leaders of Vietnamcongratulated Indonesia on the elections that took place smoothly andpeacefully, which are the basis for the country to continue developing stablyand prosperously and promoting its stature in the region and the world.
They voiced their belief that theVietnam-Indonesia strategic partnership will develop unceasingly for the sakeof the two peoples and for peace, stability and prosperity of the ASEANCommunity.-VNA
