The Vietnamese and Chinese armed forces need to reinforce mutual trust and maintain their crucial role in the relations between the two countries. 

This will actively contribute to the maintenance of peace, stability and cooperation in their respective countries, Deputy Defence Minister Sen. Lieut. Gen. Nguyen Chi Vinh told Chinese Defence Attaché Colonel Zhen Zhongxing at a reception in Hanoi on September 24.

Vinh recognised the significant contributions of the Chinese Defence Attaché in enhancing the bilateral military rapport – which has become a spotlight in the Vietnam-China friendship over the years.

Colonel Zhen Zhongxing, who came to bid farewell at the end of his tenure, thanked the Ministry of Defence for supporting him to fulfill his missions in Vietnam.
