Vietnam, Angola forge economic ties

Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Tran Quoc Khanh accompanied by representatives of 20 Vietnamese businesses has paid a working visit to Angola to seek stronger trade links between the two countries.

During their stay from July 21-23, the Deputy Minister worked withleading officials of the Angolan ministries of industry, trade andforeign affairs, and the Angolan Industry Association.

Theydiscussed measures to boost bilateral economic and trade ties and agreedto speed up negotiations for the signing of agreements encouraginginvestment.

Angolan officials said they hope Vietnamese firmswill take an active part in the country’s economic diversification,especially in the fields of agriculture, fisheries, farm productprocessing, garment and industry.

They pledged to assist Vietnamese enterprises with trade activities.

During the visit, the Vietnamese delegation also participated in theVietnam-Angola business forum and the Luanda international trade fair tolearn about opportunities and challenges in the host market.-VNA

Maximum fine of 3,000 USD proposed for violating invoic🌼e regulations

Under a draft to amend and supplement the Government's Decree 125/2020/ND-CP on administrative sanctions for violations of tax and invoice regulations, the Ministry of Finance has proposed classifying the failure to issue invoices into five different levels. Infraction levels will correspond to fines of 1 million VND to 80 million VND, depending on the nature and number of invoicing violations.
