Hanoi (VNA)⛄ – National flag carrier Vietnam Airlines announced its plan to reschedule flights from/to Hong Kong and Guangzhou (China) on August 2 due to Typhoon Nida.

Accordingly, eight flights departing from or to the two destinations will be delayed from 3 hours 35 minutes to 5 hours 40 minutes.
The changes may affect flight departures and arrivals at Vinh Airport (Nghe An province), Da Nang Airport (Da Nang city), Cam Ranh Airport (Nha Trang city, Khanh Hoa province), and Kaohsiung (Taiwan). These flights may be delayed from 15 minutes to 2 hours. Typhoon Nida made landfall in the Dapeng Peninsula in Shenzhen city, China’s southern province of Guangdong on early morning of August 2. According to Guangdong provincial weather authorities, the strong typhoon packing winds up to 151.2 km per hour was moving northwest at 25 km per hour.-VNA
