𓂃 – Vietnam Airlines has remained the market leader this year, but has seen its domestic market share erode significantly.

According to a Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam (CAAV) report, the airline carried 14.6 million passengers, 9.3 percent higher year-on-year but only accounting for 47.6 percent of the total number of air travellers compared to 56.6 percent in the same period last year.
Budget carriers Vietjet Air and Jetstar Pacific increased their respective market shares by 6.9 percentage points to 35.7 percent and 1.9 percentage points to 14.9 percent.
Vietnamese carriers together operate a fleet of 127 aircraft with an average age slightly above five years. They own 51 of them and lease the rest. This year they have carried 26.9 million passengers and 198,000 tonnes of goods, 26.9 percent and 5.1 percent up year-on-year.-VNA

꧒ Maximum fine of 3,000 USD proposed for violating invoice regulations

Under a draft to amend and supplement the Government's Decree 125/2020/ND-CP on administrative sanctions for violations of tax and invoice regulations, the Ministry of Finance has proposed classifying the failure to issue invoices into five different levels. Infraction levels will correspond to fines of 1 million VND to 80 million VND, depending on the nature and number of invoicing violations.
