Hanoi (VNA) – Budget carrier Vietjet Air onDecember 12 launched the Hai Phong – Seoul route by welcoming the first flightat Cat Bi International Airport.
The new route is to meet the travel demand of people and tourists between twolocalities, contributing to promoting trade and integration in the region, saida Vietjet representative.
The Hai Phong – Seoul route offers flights on every Monday, Wednesday, Thursdayand Sunday with flighttime of one hour 50 minutes per leg.
The flight takes off fromHai Phong at 23:45 and arrives at Seoul at 06:00 (local time). The returnflight departs at 07:15 (local time) and lands in Hai Phong at 10:40.
Flight frequency will be increased from January 19, 2017 to February 13,2017, serving Vietnam’s lunar new year holiday.
The same day, the new route linking Ho Chi Minh City to Kaohsiung (Taiwan, China) was launched with five returnflights a week on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday.
The flight, which lasts 3 hours 30 minutes per leg, departs from Ho Chi MinhCity at 02:10 and lands in Kaohsiung at 06:30 (local time). The return flighttakes off at 08:15 and lands in Ho Chi Minh City at 10:45 (local time).-VNA
Vietjet has made its debut flight for the Hai Phong–Bangkok route and welcomed the flight’s first passengers arriving at the airport at Cat Bi International Airport in the northern city of Hai Phong.
