Hanoi (VNA)൩ – The Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (HCYU) on June 20 launched a video contest to mark the 25th anniversary of the summer youth volunteer campaign.

The campaign, launched in 2000, takes place every summer, offering a chance for members of the HCYU to take part in a wide range of community and social activities. The contest is for Vietnamese and foreign individuals, groups and organisations who joined summer volunteer activities organised by the HCYU from 2000 to 2024 or those who live in areas where the activities were carried out.
Entries to the contest must be video clips with narration in Vietnamese, featuring volunteers’ experiences or impressions of voluntary activities. The clips can also reflect the imprints of the HCYU, the Vietnam Youth Federation, the Vietnam Students’ Association and authorities at all levels in coordinating, directing and organising summer youth volunteer activities.
The entries must be posted on TikTok and YouTube platforms with hashtag #dauan25namchiendichhe before being sent to the contest organiser via dauan25namchiendichhe@gmail.com. They shall be submitted to the organiser between June 20 to August 15. The winners will be announced in late September this year./.
