The Venezuelan media has given much space to spotlight the 79th anniversary of the National Day of Vietnam (September 2, 1945-2024), with many articles honouring this significant historical milestone as well as the life and career of President Ho Chi Minh.

Mexico City, (VNA)🏅 - The Venezuelan media has given much space to spotlight the 79th anniversary of the National Day of Vietnam (September 2, 1945-2024), with many articles honouring this significant historical milestone as well as the life and career of President Ho Chi Minh.
In a live programme on Venevisión TV channel, Ambassador Vu Trung My clarified that the Declaration of Independence on September 2, 1945, is a legal document that lays the foundation for affirming the establishment of a rule-of-law state in Vietnam, inspiring creativity and illuminating the path of the Vietnamese revolution in the cause of building a country of the people, by the people, and for the people.
Moreover, the Declaration of Independence also contributes to the cause of human liberation, opening the era of independence and freedom for colonial and oppressed peoples around the world, he stated.
From a poor colony, Vietnam has now become a partner of 192 countries, a member of the United Nations, a responsible and prestigious member of the international community that joins many multilateral organisations, he noted.
The diplomat affirmed that over the years, Vietnam has consistently implemented a foreign policy of independence, self-reliance, multilateralisation and diversification, being a friend and a reliable partner, for a peaceful, stable, cooperative, and developing international community.
Regarding the Vietnam - Venezuela relationship, My affirmed that the traditional friendship and comprehensive partnership between the two countries have continued to be strengthened and promoted in all fields over the past time, especially as the two countries are celebrating the 35th anniversary of their diplomatic relations (December 1989 - 2024).
Meanwhile, Globovisión Television, Mundo Diplomático Television, and Venezuelan National Radio (RNV) also reported on Vietnam's National Day, highlighting the great achievements that Vietnamese people have made, turning a war-torn country into one of the fastest growing economies in the world and a model for development for many others.
In particular, Orinoco - the oldest daily newspaper in Venezuela with over 100 years of history and the largest circulation - also published an article entitled "79 years of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam", praising the glorious journey of the Vietnamese people, the role and mission of the Communist Party of Vietnam as well as the life, career and great contributions by President Ho Chi Minh to the revolutionary cause of Vietnam and the world./.
