In his status, Maduro affirmed that President Ho Chi Minhwas the founder of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam and created the country’sindependence.
He recalled the day in 1945 at the Ba Dinh Square, the latePresident read the Declaration of Independence founding the Democratic Republicof Vietnam, with the determination to build a socialist nation.
President Ho then led the Vietnamese people to triumph overFrench colonists and US imperialists.
