Vallet scholarships granted to 230 students in Thua Thien – Hue province

The scientific and educational organisation "Meeting Vietnam" on September 2 presented 230 Vallet scholarships worth 4 billion VND (170,484 USD) in total to outstanding students in the central province of Thua Thien Hue.

Thua Thien - Hue (VNA) - The scientific and educationalorganisation "Meeting Vietnam" on September 2 presented 230 Valletscholarships worth 4 billion VND (170,484 USD) in total to outstanding studentsin the central province of Thua Thien Hue.

Established in 2001, the organisation’s Vallet Scholarship Fund has beensponsored by Professor Odon Vallet from France’s Sorbonne University. Over thepast two decades, it has granted more than 350 billion VND worth ofscholarships to Vietnamese students.

Over the past two decades, the organisation presented more than 4,500 Valletscholarships to students in Thua Thien – Hue province alone.

Thisyear, 2,100 Vallet scholarships, whose total value exceeds 36 billion VND, areset to be presented to Vietnamese pupils and students across the nation./.

“I Love My Country” media campaign launched

Running from August 4 to September 2, under the hashtag #TuHaoVietNam, the campaign invites participants in two categories: “I Love My Country” video clips and “I Love My Country” check-in photos.

With a tight 13-month deadline, the move is under a strategic and urgent policy to bridge educational gaps, train the local workforce, and shore up territorial sovereignty in some of the country’s most remote areas.
