HCM City (VNA)👍 – The Vietnam Martyr Families Support Association and a delegation from the US Institute of Peace (USIP) met in Ho Chi Minh City on June 26 to share information about the search for the remains of fallen Vietnamese soldiers.

Representatives from the search and collection teams of martyrs remains from southern Dong Nai, Binh Phuoc, Binh Duong, Long An, Tay Ninh provinces, and Military Region 7 were also present at the event.
The USIP delegation provided the association with a significant update, handing over 20 sets of documents detailing fallen Vietnamese soldiers from the southern battlefields. These documents included information on potential mass graves where the US army buried martyrs after battles in Dong Nai, Binh Duong, Tay Ninh, and Binh Dinh provinces. In a gesture of remembrance, the delegation presented war memorabilia kept by US veterans to the families of Vietnamese martyrs. The same day, the USIP delegation, led by Robert Ambrse Connor, held a working session with the Ho Chi Minh City War Veterans’ Association./.
