Hanoi (VNA) - US President Donald Trump said on February 28 that he hadan effective discussion with the leader of the Democratic People’s Republic ofKorea (DPRK) Kim Jong-un on February 27.

Talking the press before the second working day of the DPRK-USA Hanoi Summit Vietnam,President Trump stressed that he is not hasty in the denuclearization and thepace of the work is not soimportant.

He expressed his respect for DPRK leader Kim, while highlighting the great potentialfor the two countries to develop their relations.

The US leader thanked the DPRK leader for refrainingfrom missileand nuclear tests.

For his part, Chairman Kim said he had a nice dialogue with President Trump and expressed his hope for the summitto reach positive outcomes. -VNA
