US helps build classrooms in Thai Nguyen

The northern province of Thai Nguyen held a ceremony on December 6 to inaugurate 10 new classrooms at a primary school, built with financial support from the US Boeing Company and the Vietnam Veterans of American Foundation.

Construction of theclassrooms at My Yen primary school, My Yen commune, Dai Tu district,started this June with the total investment of over 5 billion VND,including 3.8 billion VND from local budget.

My Yenprimary school was built in 1981 with eight temporary classrooms. Thenew facilities will provide better teaching and learning conditions for27 teachers and 360 pupils there.-VNA

Running from August 4 to September 2, under the hashtag #TuHaoVietNam, the campaign invites participants in two categories: “I Love My Country” video clips and “I Love My Country” check-in photos.
