Hanoi (VNA) – The Vietnam U22 footballteam will has a friendly match with a team of all stars of the KoreaProfessional Football League (K League) in Hanoi on July 29. 

The match will help the national squad preparefor the upcoming 29th Southeast Asian (SEA) Games in Malaysia and 2018 AFC U-23Championship qualifying round.

Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) generalsecretary Le Hoai Anh said the event is a chance for the team to review itscapacity and resources before heading for training in the Republic of Korea.

K League General Secretary Han Oungsoo laudedthe achievement the Vietnamese football made recently, particularly theparticipation of the local U20 team in the FIFA U20 World Cup in the RoK.

He said with efforts poured on training youngplayers, Vietnam will soon consolidate its position in Asia.-VNA
