Two men smuggling six heroin bricks arrested in Dien Bien
Police of Dien Bien Dong district in the northern border province of Dien Bien on August 4 arrested two men who were illegally transporting six bricks of heroin (about 2.1 kg).

Along with heroin, the police also seized two mobile phones, a motor bike andother relevant objects.
The men are Lau A Mua, born in 2000, and his elder brother Lau A Cha, born in1996, residing in Xa Dung commune, Dien Bien Dong district.
Mua confessed that he bought the heroin from a Laotian and asked Cha to joinhim to sell the drugs.
Police in the northern mountainous province of Son La on June 4 arrested a man when he was illegally transporting 20 bricks of heroin (about seven kilograms) in Co Phay hamlet, Tan Lap commune, Moc Chau district.
The police in Muong Nhe district, the northern border province of Dien Bien, in coordination with the local border guards and customs force have arrested a drug trafficker and 10 bricks (3.4kgs) of heroin.
The police of the northwestern province of Hoa Binh, in collaboration with other anti-drug forces from the Ministry of Public Security and the Vietnam Coast Guard High Command, seized 100 heroin bricks from a car during their patrol on National Highway 6 on July 19.
The bus is believed to have lost control and collided with the rear of a Perodua Myvi and a Toyota Innova, causing all three vehicles to veer out of their lane.
