Vinh Phuc (VNA) – Seven people, including two Koreans, were injured in a suspected gas explosion at a shophouse in Vinh Yen city, the northern province of Vinh Phuc, on July 16 morning.

The shophouse is located on the first floor of the City Light building on Nguyen Tat Thanh street in Vinh Yen, and has been under renovation to be open as a Korean-style BBQ restaurant.

All of the injured were taken to the Vinh Phuc provincial general hospital for treatment. The two Koreans and four others were then transferred to the Le Huu Trac National Burn Hospital in Hanoi due to their critical conditions.
