The Turkish Government has provided200,000 USD to the northern province of Bac Ninh to carry out a projectto improve mother and child health care.
The projectwill get underway one year from Dec. 1, 2009, in 13 communes from thefour districts Que Vo, Tien Du, Yen Phong and Bac Ninh city.
It is intended to enhance the organisations capabilities and developthe provinces resources for its network of reproductive health careservices.
With this project, medicines and medical facilities will be provided toimprove women’s health and especially mothers, and reduce the birthrate.
The project is also designed to ensure the rights of couples to choosetheir own preferred method of contraception, enjoy reproductive healthcare services and diagnose and treat breast cancer and women’s genitalcancer./.
