Trans-Vietnam Book Fair comes to Hue for first time

The Trans-Vietnam Book Fair is being held for the first time from April 12-17 in the central province of Thua Thien-Hue, in response to the Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day 2022 (April 21).

Thua Thien-Hue (VNA) - The Trans-Vietnam Book Fair is being held forthe first time from April 12-17 in the central province of Thua Thien-Hue, in responseto the Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day 2022 (April 21).

It is organised by Hue city’s Information and Culture Divisionand six prestigious publishers, namely the Youth Publishing House, Thai Ha Books, NhaNam, Minh Long, Dinh Ti, and Saigon Books.

Within the framework of the event, there will also be seminarson the reading culture, with the participation of representatives of publishers,municipal authorities, students, and local book lovers.

The Trans-Vietnamese Book Fair is expected to continue itsactivities in the city of Da Nang and the southcentral province of Phu Yen from April 20 to24./.

“I Love My Country” media campaign launched

Running from August 4 to September 2, under the hashtag #TuHaoVietNam, the campaign invites participants in two categories: “I Love My Country” video clips and “I Love My Country” check-in photos.

With a tight 13-month deadline, the move is under a strategic and urgent policy to bridge educational gaps, train the local workforce, and shore up territorial sovereignty in some of the country’s most remote areas.
