A man was arrested in the central province of Thanh Hoa on February 28 while attempting to bring 6,000 synthetic drug pills from Laos to Vietnam.

Thanh Hoa (VNA) – A man was arrested in thecentral province of Thanh Hoa on February 28 while attempting to bring 6,000synthetic drug pills from Laos to Vietnam.

On February 28 morning, noticing suspicioussigns of Ngan Van May, a 33-year-old resident in Bo village of Viengxaydistrict, Laos’ Houaphanh province, when he was carrying out procedures forentering Vietnam, border guards of Thanh Hoa examined and found 30 small bagscontaining 6,000 pink pills in his motorbike.

At the Quang Chieu border guard station in MuongLat district, May admitted that the pills are synthetic drug that a Laonational had hired him to transport from Bo village to Vietnam.
