Top leader attends special artistic programme honouring President Ho Chi Minh's testament
A special artistic programme titled "Loi Nguoi de lai (The Words He Left Behind)" was held at Ba Dinh Square in Hanoi to commemorate the 55th anniversary of the implementation of late President Ho Chi Minh's testament and his passing (September 2, 1969 - 2024).

Hanoi (VNA) - A special artistic programme titled "Loi Nguoi de lai (The Words He Left Behind)" was held at Ba Dinh Square in Hanoi to commemorate the 55th anniversary of the implementation of late President Ho Chi Minh's testament and his passing (September 2, 1969 - 2024).
Party General Secretary and State President To Lam attended the event. Other attendees included Politburo members: Phan Dinh Trac, Secretary of the Party Central Committee (PCC) and Chairman of its Commission for Internal Affairs; Nguyen Trong Nghia, Secretary of the PCC and Chairman of its Commission for Information and Education; and Bui Thi Minh Hoai, Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee. The event also saw the attendance of PCC members, government officials, municipal and provincial leaders, and international friends.
Co-organised by the PCC's Commission for Information and Education and Vietnam Television, the 90-minute programme comprised two parts. It recalled the nation's history while reaffirming the core values and significant contributions of the testament to the Vietnamese revolution over the past half-century. It also featured a harmonious blend of documentaries and artistic performances.
The testament, with its enduring and transcendent values, continues to inspire young Vietnamese today and serves as a source of motivation for future generations to study and follow the late President’s morality, thought, and lifestyle.
Over the past 55 years of implementing his will and nearly 40 years of national renewal, under the leadership of the Party, Vietnam has developed into a more prosperous and beautiful nation, fulfilling the late leader's aspirations.
ꦚ Remaining steadfast on the path towards socialism as outlined in the testament, the upcoming 14th National Party Congress will mark a significant milestone, providing a strategic direction for the future. The congress aims to comprehensively and synchronously advance the reform process, firmly safeguard the nation, and achieve the goals set for 2030 - the centenary of the Party's founding, which are transforming Vietnam into a developing country with modern industry and upper-middle-income status. By 2045, on the centenary of the nation's founding, Vietnam will become a developed country with high income./.
A national exhibition entitled “The Testament of President Ho Chi Minh – Everlasting Value and Vitality” opened at the Presidential Palace complex in Hanoi on August 30.
