HCM City (VNA) - The Vietnam Sport Show 2025, the Vietnam Cycle Expo 2025, and the 13th Zhejiang Export Fair simultaneously opened at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Centre in Ho Chi Minh City on August 14.

Vietnam Sport Show 2025 features over 450 booths from 15 countries and territories, bringing together reputable domestic and international brands, affirming its value as an international trade promotion event in Vietnam’s sports and entertainment industry.

A highlight of this year’s show is the China Sports (Vietnam) Expo pavilion, introducing products of more than 50 enterprises from Chinese localities such as Fujian, Guangdong, Jiangsu, Shandong, and Zhejiang.

In addition, it serves as a platform for business networking, enabling domestic enterprises to connect with international partners and vice versa, thereby enhancing opportunities for cooperation and investment expansion. The exhibition also offers startups in the sports sector a chance to introduce their products, seek strategic partners, and shape long-term development directions.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Nguyen Hong Minh, Deputy Director of the Vietnam Sports Administration, stated that the three-day exhibition showcases a wide variety of the most modern sports products today, from specialised equipment, sportwear, and accessories to smart training machines, health technology solutions, and digital technology–driven sports trends.

This is not only an opportunity to present the most advanced products, technologies, and equipment in the international market but also a chance to promote sustainable development in the sports industry, he added.

Meanwhile, Vietnam Cycle Expo 2025 offers a vast display area with diverse bicycle models, from city to mountain bikes, along with technology-enabled electric bike models and accessories.

According to Pham Cuong, Chairman of the Vietnam Auto, Motorcycle and Bicycle Association (VAMOBA) – the organiser of the exhibition, it not only helps businesses enhance market access efficiency but also creates a unique intersection of sports, mobility, and technology.

The 13th Zhejiang Export Fair is one of the oldest and largest export commodity exhibitions independently organised by Zhejiang province in the ASEAN region. The fair is regarded as an important platform for Zhejiang and Vietnam to strengthen exchanges, promote mutual understanding, and lay a solid foundation for future cooperation.

Addressing the opening ceremony, Vo Hong Son, head of the Southern Representative Office of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, stated that in the context of global economic integration, the Vietnamese Government has been implementing increasingly higher and more comprehensive commitments to international economic cooperation, creating many opportunities for joint development.

The combination of the three exhibitions this time demonstrates the spirit of international cooperation, innovation, and sustainable development, he stressed.

These two exhibitions will also remain open to visitors until August 16/.
