Three in int’l wanted list arrested in Quang Ninh

Police of the northern border province of Quang Ninh recently arrested three Chinese nationals who are in the international wanted list for illegal detention of others.

Quang Ninh (VNA) – Police of thenorthern border province of Quang Ninh recently arrested three Chinesenationals who are in the international wanted list for illegal detention of others.

Earlier, the police at the Chinese Embassy inVietnam asked police in Lang Son northern border province to arrest Wu XinMing, a Chinese national born in 1972 and residing in Shanghai city. Initial information revealed that the Chineseman was hiding at Wyndham Hotel in Quang Ninh province’s Ha Long city.

According to the Chinese side, his twoaccomplishes are Hei Long Jiang, born in 1961 and Zhang Zhen Jiang, born in1986. 

After exchanging information, police in QuangNinh province and relevant agencies successfully arrested Wu on November 20when he left the hotel in Ha Long city, for dinner with his two friends.

The three suspects organised trips to Malaysiafor Chinese people to gamble. They lent money to gamblers when they lost, thendetained them and asked their families to transfer money to their bankaccounts.

The three escaped to Quang Ninh province afterbeing placed in the wanted list by the Chinese police.

Lang Son police had completed procedures andhanded over the three to the Chinese counterpart. -VNA
