On January 19, police of Quan Hoa district caught 40-year-old Hoang Ngoc Bangfrom Muong Ly commune, Muong Lat district, selling a packet of heroin and ameth pill in Trung Son commune.
Searching the man’s house, they seized 10 plastic bags containing 2,020 methpills.
Bang has three previous drug convictions. After completing previous jail terms,he trafficked drugs from Laos to Muong Lat and Quan Hoa districts of Thanh Hoaprovince.
The same day, Quan Hoa police also arrested 36-year-old Vi Van Dong from Ta Banhamlet, Trung Son commune, for drug trafficking and storage.
They found 4,200 meth pill, a brick of heroin, 1 kg of crystal meth, a homemadegun and knives, swords and other tools in his house.
Earlier this month, Thanh Hoaprovince police seized two men attempting to smuggle 17,133 meth pills and 2 kgof methamphetamine.
The arrestees are Bui Khac Tho, born in 1980 andresiding in Tinh Gia district of Thanh Hoa; and Nguyen Dinh Tho, born in 1996and from Ky Anh district of central Ha Tinh province.-VNA
