Bangkok (NNT/VNA) – Officials from the Kingdom of Thailand and the Republic of Chile have held talks on bilateral cooperation to promote tourism and strengthen trade and investment.
The Digital Economy and Society Minister, Pichet Durongkaveroj, welcomed the Ambassador of Chile to Thailand, Christain Rehren Bargetto, at the Chaeng Watthana Government Complex, Bangkok.
Both sides have agreed to consider establishing tourism cooperation using technology as a key mechanism, as the number of Chilean tourists visiting Thailand has continually risen.
The two officials also discussed bilateral cooperation on trade, investment, and commerce. They have agreed to tighten cooperation between Thai and Chilean agencies in various areas, including startup projects. - VNA
