Ba Ria-Vung Tau (VNA) – Ten fishermen were rescued after their boatwas hit by a cargo ship 24 miles offshore the southern province of Ba Ria-VungTau on March 17.
The KH 93968 boat from Khanh Hoa province was broken when colliding with thePanama-flagged Koralia freighter.
Receiving SOS signal from the sinking fishing vessel, a nearby fishing boatarrived and saved the fishermen on board. They are now in good physical andpsychological condition.
Relevant authorities are conducting investigation into the case.-VNA
