Tay Ninh kicks off first social housing project

The southern province of Tay Ninh commenced the construction works on its first social housing project on April 29.

Tay Ninh (VNA) – The southern province of Tay Ninh commenced the construction works on its first social housing project on April 29.

The 1 trillion VND (44.5 million USD) project is carried out by the Hoang Quan Mekong Consulting - Trading - Service Real Estate Company in Tay Ninh city.

According to Truong Anh Tuan, Chairman and General Director of the Hoang Quan Company, the housing complex will have seven 15-storey buildings with 1,526 apartments on a total area of 3.3 hectares.

Tuan said the first phase of the project will be completed in the fourth quarter of 2017 and the second phase at the end of 2018.

Later, the company plans to invest 766 billion VND (33.7 million USD) in the project’s extension with 972 apartments, which is slated to be completed in 2019.

❀ Pham Van Tan, Chairman of Tay Ninh province’s People’s Committee, said the project has a great significance to the province, helping low-income people to have stable accommodation and easing pressure on providing housing for its labourers and civil servants.-VNA
