The three Vietnamese films were named the best among 35 three-minuteentries from around the country tackling the theme of ‘School Violence’at the competition on September 14.
The firstwinner was “Nam tram nghin dong” (500,000 VND) from Phan Chu TrinhSecondary School in Hanoi. It was followed by “Giac mo” (Dream) createdby Hue High School in central Hue city. The third prize was awarded to“Nhung ngay toi truong” (Days at school) by the Birla Orphanage inHanoi.
The Vietnamese event, co-organised by theJapanese Embassy in Vietnam, the Ministry of Culture, Sports andTourism, and the Ministry of Education and Training, was one of a numberof activities held to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Vietnam –Japan diplomatic ties.
A representative from theJapanese Embassy said the event, held annually, aims to encourage andnurture children’s greater interest in their surrounding social life andnature as well to become good citizens.-VNA
