Vietnam is deeply concerned about the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK)’s launch of a ballistic missile over Japan’s airspace on September 15, which seriously violated relevant resolutions of the United Nations Security Council and increased tension in the region.

Hanoi (VNA) – Vietnam is deeply concerned about the DemocraticPeople’s Republic of Korea (DPRK)’s launch of a ballistic missile over Japan’sairspace on September 15, which seriously violated relevant resolutions of theUnited Nations Security Council and increased tension in the region,Spokeswoman of the Vietnamese Foreign Ministry Le Thi Thu Hang has said.

Vietnam consistently supports all efforts to promote dialogues andmaintain peace and stability on the Korean peninsula, Hang said on September 17in reply to reporters’ queries on the DPRK’s move.

“Vietnam also calls on the parties concerned to strictly comply with relatedresolutions of the United Nations Security Council and take constructive and practicalactions to contribute to maintaining peace, security and stability in theregion and the world,” she stressed.-VNA
