Social resources have been sent to the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) over the past few days in response to a call from the Party, Government and the VFF to fight the raging COVID-19 pandemic.

– Social resources havebeen sent to the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) over the past few days inresponse to a call from the Party, Government and the VFF to fight the raging COVID-19pandemic.

According to preliminarystatistics, the amount of money donated through the National HumanitarianPortal has reached over 128 billion VND (5.4 million USD).

More than 750 billion VNDin cash and kind have been sent to the VFF Central Committee.

On Apr🅠il 6, President of the VFF CentralCommittee Tran Thanh Man received 100 million VND (4,266 USD) from the PartyCentral Committee’s Co🍨mmission for Internal Affairs.

He stressed that all ofthe cash will be transferred to the Ministry of Health to buy essential medicalequipment to tackle COVID-19, while relief packages will be sent to theMinistry of National Defence and the Ministry of Public Security for distributionto quarantine and treatment facilities throughout the country.

The same day, the VFFleader also received fundings worth 105 million VND and 335 million VND fromDoan ket Company Limited and AOE Community in Vietnam, respectively.

Vice President of the VFFCentral Committee Nguyen Huu Dung received 30 million VND from the VietnamUnion of Friendship Organisations, and 40 million VND from the NationalPolitical Publishing House, in donations for the nationwide fight againstCOVID-19.

Also on April 6, the VFF’s chapter in the northern province of Hai Duong receivedsupport from many businesses in and out of the locality to prevent thepandemic.

𝔉The chapter has received over 4.6 billion VND,including 3 billion VND in cash and the remainder in essential goods, foodand medical equipment./.
