Hanoi (VNA) – Singapore’s Land Transport Authority announced on August 18 that it will intensify enforcement against vaping within the public transport network, with station staff conducting active patrols.
Anyone caught vaping will be removed from the premises and reported to the authorities. For individuals found intoxicated, the police may also be called, the agency said.
Meanwhile, transport operator SMRT also urged the public to report vaping offences to the authorities.
