Khanh Hoa (VNA)൲ – The ships bringing more than 400 tonnes of Tet gifts, fresh food and foodstuff and other necessities arrived at the Truong Sa island district offshore central coastal Khanh Hoa province on January 7.

The Tet gifts were sent by ministries, agencies, localities and organisations across the country, with the hope of bringing a warm Lunar New Year (Tet) holiday to officers, soldiers and residents living on the islands.

Chairman of the district People’s Committee Nguyen Viet Thuan said the annual Tet visits to Truong Sa show how much care the nation has given to those people who are safeguarding national sovereignty over sea and islands.
