School, enterprise links in vocational training to be intensified

The programme is under the vocational skill improvement project funded by the Asian Development Bank (ADB).

With the participation of 25 enterprises in different fields, theevent worked as a bridge linking vocational schools, students andenterprises and gave students an opportunity to gain a deeperunderstanding of recruitment processes and current labour market demand.

Deputy Head of the General Directorate of VocationalTraining Nguyen Hong Minh said a key solution for meeting the labourmarket’s demand is strengthening linkages between schools andenterprises during the training process.

Based on the recruitmentdemand of enterprises, vocational schools can make suitable changes totheir curricula, while enterprises can join the training process andsecure quality workers.

Minh added the General Directorate hasimplemented overall solutions with a view to enhancing vocationaltraining quality, creating jobs for students and changing society’sviews on occupational orientations.-VNA

Running from August 4 to September 2, under the hashtag #TuHaoVietNam, the campaign invites participants in two categories: “I Love My Country” video clips and “I Love My Country” check-in photos.

With a tight 13-month deadline, the move is under a strategic and urgent policy to bridge educational gaps, train the local workforce, and shore up territorial sovereignty in some of the country’s most remote areas.
