🌄The Russian Film Week kicked off at the National Cinema Centre in Hanoi on December 9 night with the screening ofmovie Road to Berlin.

The film week is co-organised by the Vietnamese Ministryof Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Russian Embassy in Vietnam to markthe 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Vietnam andRussia (1950-2020) and the 75th anniversary of the end of World War II. Road to Berlin is a drama and adventuredirected by Sergei Popov. The comprehensive direction and careful construction of thescript allows the film to examine the bonding of two characters, depictingtheir professionalism and often heroic acts, without resorting tosensationalism or sentimentality. In addition to Road to Berlin, moviesfeatured during the event from December 9-13 include White Tiger, TheStar; Come and See and They Fought for Their Country. Audience will have an opportunity to betterunderstand the Great Patriotic war and experience the Russian film industry. All five films selected for this year’s event havewon many domestic awards and have featured at a number of internationalfestivals.
