Russia thanks Vietnam for humanitarian assistance amid COVID-19

Since the COVID-19 outbreak, theVietnamese Government, ministries, agencies and localities have donated about 1 million protective masks𝕴together with a plenty of sterilisationequipment to Russia in the spirit of friendship and comprehensive partnership, sheaddressed a regular press briefing in Moscow on October 29.
All batches of medical equipmenthave been transported to the port of Vladivostok and will soon be transferredto the Ministry of Emergency Situations for distribution in the Primorsky region,she added. According to her, both Vietnam andRussia are strengthening close cooperation through their specialised agenciesand organisations, including the Vietnam-Russia Tropical Centre, and throughthe exchange of expertise, to counter the spread of the pandemic.
Currently, Russia is consideringthe use of 500 respirators assembled in Vietnam, said Zakharova./.
