RoK promotes tourism in Vietnam

The Korea Tourism Organisation in Vietnam (KTO Vietnam) held the Korea MICE Webinar on December 21 to promote outbound tours to the country on December 21, attracting over 500 travel, media agencies and enterprises from Hanoi and other localities.

Hanoi (VNA) – The Korea TourismOrganisation in Vietnam (KTO Vietnam) held the Korea MICE Webinar on December21 to promote outbound tours to the country on December 21, attracting over 500travel, media agencies and enterprises from Hanoi and other localities.

The KTO Vietnam introduced the latestMICE tours and visa information in the Republic of Korea (RoK), tourism supportpolicies to prepare for the opening of international flights as well as Koreantourism promotion activities in Vietnam.

Apart from souvenirs, Vietnamesevisitors to the RoK in large groups on package tours will receive financialassistance amounting to nearly 1 million VND each.

During 2015-2019, the RoK ranked thirdglobally in terms of destination for global events and conferences by the Unionof International Associations.

ﷺ The Korea Unique Venueprogramme was also introduced, featuring 39 locations that showcase the RoK’srich history, colourful culture and tradition, with the selection of everything from cruise ships to traditional folk villages to national museums.

Chief Representative of the KTO inVietnam Park Jong-sun said as 2022 marks the 30th anniversary ofdiplomatic ties between Vietnam and the RoK, not only KTO but the RoK Government also wants to reboot cultural and tourism exchange activities whenthe two countries are ready to reopen./.

“I Love My Country” media campaign launched

Running from August 4 to September 2, under the hashtag #TuHaoVietNam, the campaign invites participants in two categories: “I Love My Country” video clips and “I Love My Country” check-in photos.

With a tight 13-month deadline, the move is under a strategic and urgent policy to bridge educational gaps, train the local workforce, and shore up territorial sovereignty in some of the country’s most remote areas.
