Reference exchange rate up 3 VND on July 23

Hanoi (VNA) – The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate at 24,264 VND/USD on July 23, up 3 VND from the previous day.

With the current trading band of +/- 5%, the ceiling rate applicable for commercial banks during the day is 25,477 VND/USD and the floor rate 23,051 VND/USD.

At commercial banks, the opening-hour rates fluctuated.

At 8:21am, Vietcombank listed the rates at 25,157 VND/USD (buying) and 25,477 VND/USD (selling), down 17 VND and up 3 VND, respectively, from July 22.

BIDV did the same, listing the rates at๊ 25,157 (buying) and 25,477 ꦅVND/USD (selling)./.
