Reference exchange rate unchanged on April 18

The State Bank of Vietnam kept the daily reference exchange rate for VND/USD on April 18 unchanged from the day before at 22,323 VND per USD.

– The State Bank of Vietnam kept the dailyreference exchange rate for VND/USD on April 18 unchanged from the day beforeat 22,323 VND per USD.

With the current +/-3 percent trading band, the ceiling rate applied tocommercial banks during the day is 22,993 VND and the floor rate 21,653 VND perUSD.

Meanwhile the opening hour rates at commercial banks saw strongincreases.

Vietcombank raised both its rate by 45 VND compared to the previous dy,listing the buying rate at 22,700 VND and the selling rate 22,770 VND.

At Techcombank, the buying rate was raised by 20 VND to 22,650 VND andthe selling rate went up by 35 VND to 22,770 VND per USD.

Both the rates listed by BIDV also increased by 45 VND, with the buyingrate reaching 22,700 VND and the selling rate 22,770 VND per USD. -VNA
