Hanoi (VNA) - TheState Bank adjusted the daily reference exchange rate on September 19 up byanother 10 VND to 22,710 VND/USD.

With the current trading band of+ /- 3 percent, the ceiling rate applied to commercial banks during the day is23,390 VND/USD and the floor rate 22,030 VND/USD.

The opening hour rates atcommercial banks decreased slightly compared to September 18.

Vietcombank cut both rates by 5VND, listing the buying rate at 23,250 VND/USD and the selling rate at 23,330VND/USD.

At BIDV, the buying rate is alsobeing listed at 23,250 VND/USD and the selling rate at 23,330 VND/USD, bothdown 5 VND from September 18.

Techcombank cut the buying rateby 20 VND to 23,220 VND/USD and the selling rate by 15 VND to 23,325 VND/USD.

The daily reference exchangerate opened this week unchanged from the last day of previous week but was onthe rising trend for the next two days.-VNA
