Reference exchange rate continue to rise on November 22

The daily reference exchange rate continued to go up on November 22 for the third day in a row this week, standing at 22,733 VND per USD, an increase of 2 VND from November 21.

Hanoi(VNA) - Thedaily reference exchange rate continued to go up on November 22 for the thirdday in a row this week, standing at 22,733 VND per USD, an increase of 2 VNDfrom November 21.

With the current trading band of  +/- 3 percent, the ceiling rate applied to commercial banks during the day is23,414 VND/USD and the floor rate 22,052 VND/USD.

The opening hour rates atcommercial banks also rose.

Vietcombank raised both rates by15 VND from November 21, listing the buying rate at 23,305 VND/USD and theselling rate at 23,395 VND/USD.

The rates listed at BIDV went up15 VND, to 23,305 VND/USD (buying) and 23,395 VND/USD (selling).

Both the rates at Techcombankalso increased by 10 VND, with the buying rate at 23,280 VND/USD and theselling rate at 23,390 VND/USD.

This week (November 19 to 23),the reference exchange rate was unchanged on Monday but has been on a risingtrend for the next three days.
