HCM City (VNA) -Vietnam Railway plans to operate extra trains for Tet (Lunar New Year Festival)from February 2 to March 4 next year.
From Ho Chi Minh City therewill be 15 pairs of trains travelling to Hanoi every day and one pair each toQuang Ngai and Quy Nhon. During normal days there are only five.
There will also be extratrains on the Hanoi – Vinh, HCM City – Nha Trang, and HCM City – Phan Thietroutes.
During the Tet week(February 15 to 21) there will only be seven pairs of trains on the Hanoi – HCMCity route.
The Hanoi Railway TransportJoint Stock Company and Sai Gon Railway Transport Joint Stock Company have alsoannounced additional trains on many other routes.
The two companies also said theywould add 30 new coaches each during the Lunar New Year.-VNA
