Quang Tri (VNA)🗹 – The Quang Tri Federation of Labour signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on cooperation with the Savannakhet Federation of Trade Unions during talks in the central province of Quang Tri on July 6.

President of the Savannakhet trade unions federation Vannalat Hongxathilat said he hopes to learn from Quang Tri’s experience in building grassroots trade unions in businesses and raising funds to implement trade union activities. The same day, the Lao guests met with Permanent Vice Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Nguyen Duc Chau, who highlighted their visit to Quang Tri as a vivid illustration of Vietnam – Laos friendship and cooperation.-VNA

“I Love My Country” media campaign launched

Running from August 4 to September 2, under the hashtag #TuHaoVietNam, the campaign invites participants in two categories: “I Love My Country” video clips and “I Love My Country” check-in photos.

With a tight 13-month deadline, the move is under a strategic and urgent policy to bridge educational gaps, train the local workforce, and shore up territorial sovereignty in some of the country’s most remote areas.
