The remains were gathered by the district’s searchteam across the locality in accordance with the information provided bylocal residents. The remains were buried at Huong Hoa’s martyr cemetery.
On the occasion, representatives from the Military Zone 4presented certificates of merit to organisations and individuals whomade active contributions to the search effort for and collection ofmartyr remains.
The same day, a similar event was also organisedin Dau Tieng district’s martyr cemetery in the southern province ofBinh Duong to inter the remains of over 100 fallen soldiers. The revolutionary martyrs laid to rest, who serviced in theRegiment 3 and units of the Division 9 under the Southern High Command,were killed in village 10 of Dau Tieng district on November 22, 1965.-VNA
