Quang Ngai (VNA) - The central province of Quang Ngai plans to ♔build 20 new boarding schools for ethnic students by 2020.

The move will raise the total number of local boarding schools to 39.
There are more than 45,000 students across mountainous districts in the province, 2,000 of whom are studying at seven boarding schools. Expanding the boarding school network is expected to facilitate ethnic students’ access to receiving education.
The locality will also provide financial aid for tuition fees and accommodation, school supplies and 15kg of rice per month for ethnic students. Vietnamese and ethnic languages will be taught at the schools, among other activities to improve learning and teaching quality. In the 2015-2016 school year, investment for education in the province reached nearly 12.5 billion VND (562,500 USD), almost double that of the previous school year, at 7.5 billion VND (337,500 USD).-VNA
