HaiPhong (VNA) –
The fourth phase of the “For mother and baby – forVietnamese stature” project was launched in the northern port city of Hai Phongon March 2.

Itwill be carried out at 20 companies and factories in 10 districts of the city fromMarch to November, and is expected to benefit about 3,000 labourers.

Throughtraining courses, medical workers and trade union officials in the targetedlocalities will be equipped with skills to popularise information aboutnutrition, and spiritual and reproductive health.

Theprevious phases of the project were rolled out in Hanoi and some localities,helping nearly 10,000 people improve their knowledge and skills regardinghealth care for women at child-bearing age.

Morethan 1,500 female workers received free medical consultations and reproductivehealth checkups.

PhamHai Yen, Chairwoman of the municipal women’s union, said the project hasbrought about great benefits in the context of the increasing number ofbusinesses in Hai Phong, whose female labourers have limited access to healthcare services due to time pressure. /.

Running from August 4 to September 2, under the hashtag #TuHaoVietNam, the campaign invites participants in two categories: “I Love My Country” video clips and “I Love My Country” check-in photos.

With a tight 13-month deadline, the move is under a strategic and urgent policy to bridge educational gaps, train the local workforce, and shore up territorial sovereignty in some of the country’s most remote areas.
