President Tran Dai Quang and his spouse will pay a State visit to China and attend the high-level forum on the Belt and Road Initiative from May 11-15.
Hanoi, (VNA) – President Tran Dai Quang and his spouse will pay aState visit to China and attend the high-level forum on the Belt and RoadInitiative from May 11-15, the Foreign Ministry announced on May 5.
The President’s visit and attendance at the forum will be made at theinvitation of the General Secretary of the Communist Party of China andPresident of China, Xi Jinping.-VNA
A banquet and music performance was held in Hanoi on January 9 to celebrate the 67th anniversary of the Vietnam – China ties (January 18, 1950-2017) by the Hanoi People’s Committee in collaboration with the Chinese Embassy in Vietnam.

During the negotiations, the US highly evaluated Vietnam’s goodwill and efforts, affirmed its appreciation for the bilateral relationship, acknowledged Vietnam’s proposals and concerns, and considered these an important basis for continuing discussions and moving towards a final agreement.
The Chairman stressed the need for stricter fiscal discipline, faster digital transformation, and more efficient management of State budget revenues and expenditures.
