President Ho Chi Minh writes new history chapter for Vietnam: Korean professor
The AJU newspaper of the Republic of Korea (RoK) recently posted an article by Prof. Ahn Kyung-hwan from the Chosun University, who affirmed that late President Ho Chi Minh wrote a new chapter of history for Vietnam.

Seoul (VNA) – The AJU newspaper of the Republic ofKorea (RoK) recently posted an article by Prof. Ahn Kyung-hwan from the ChosunUniversity, who affirmed that late President Ho Chi Minh wrote a new chapter ofhistory for Vietnam.
In his article, the professor said thatPresident Ho Chi Minh is respected by the Vietnamese people as the greatesthero in the country’s history, adding that on the occasion of his 100th birthanniversary in 1990, UNESCO recognised him as a hero of national liberation andgreat man of culture of Vietnam.
The Korean scholar described the late leader ofVietnam as the embodiment of patriotism who devoted his whole life to thestruggle for national independence and freedom and the people’s happiness.
He also highlighted “Nhat ky trong tu” (PrisonDiary), a collection of poems Ho Chi Minh created while he was imprisoned bythe Chiang Kai-shek administration in China, as a masterpiece of Vietnam’sliterature.
Besides, the scholar also reserved part of hisarticle for the childhood, family and hometown of Ho Chi Minh, noting that theknowledge of the late President is critically important to the promotion ofcooperation between the RoK and Vietnam./.
An exhibition entitled “President Ho Chi Minh - Great leader of the Communist Party and people of Vietnam, Ambassador of peace and friendship of people worldwide” is now underway in Hanoi to mark his 130th birthday.
