Dien Bien (VNA) – Police of MuongNhe district, northern mountainous province of Dien Bien broke six drugtrafficking cases from Laos to Vietnam with seven suspects arrested onSeptember 11.

According to Colonel Nguyen Ngoc Truong, chiefof the district police, police secretly carried out surveillance at locationsalong Vietnam-Laos border in Muong Nhe district.

At about 4:00 am, they caught seven suspects,three men and four women, transporting approximately 5 kilogrammes of drugs intotal from Laos to Vietnam.

The police are working with relevant authoritiesfor further investigation.-VNA
