Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh led a working Government delegation to visit officials, soldiers, and policy beneficiaries in the north central province of Thanh Hoa on January 24 ahead of the upcoming Lunar New Year.

Thanh Hoa (VNA) – Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinhled a working Government delegation to visit officials, soldiers, and policybeneficiaries in the north central province of Thanh Hoa on January 24ahead of the upcoming Lunar New Year.

At his meeting with local police, the PM took note of and hailed their achievementsover the past time in contribution to the overall results of the province and the nation.

He assigned the force to participate in COVID-19 preventionand control, with a focus on launching a quick vaccination campaign for people.

He recommended they promote their core role in ensuring thelocal order and security, pay attention to Party building, and work withother forces in safeguarding the national independence, sovereignty, territorial integrity, andsecurity.

In the immediate future, maintaining the safety of people onthe occasion of the Lunar New Year holiday is necessary, Chinh said.

The delegation also visited and presented gifts to war veteranHa Duyen Hong in Quang Thang ward and Heroic Vietnamese Mother Nguyen Thi Thanh in QuangThinh ward, Thanh Hoa city.

The PM asked local authorities to payfurther attention to the material and spiritual life of policy beneficiaries./.

“I Love My Country” media campaign launched

Running from August 4 to September 2, under the hashtag #TuHaoVietNam, the campaign invites participants in two categories: “I Love My Country” video clips and “I Love My Country” check-in photos.

With a tight 13-month deadline, the move is under a strategic and urgent policy to bridge educational gaps, train the local workforce, and shore up territorial sovereignty in some of the country’s most remote areas.
