PM: Military Zone 7 do more to deserve local trust

Working with the Party Committee of Military Zone 7High Command in HCM City on August 22, PM Dung hailed them forensuring national security and defence, social safety and order, whichhave contributed to local socio-economic development.
Hedirected cities and provinces to work closely with Military Zone 7 tosafeguard national security and facilitate economic growth.
The Party Committee and the entire High Command should uphold thetradition of solidarity and self-reliance, build a firm defence area andcontinue strengthening collective power so as not to fall into apassive situation, he said.
At the same time, he required them to stand ready to help in case of flooding, and search and rescue missions as well.
Since early this year, Military Zone 7 staff have been firm on duty to guarantee political security and social safety.
They have also offered military and defence advice to local authorities.
Added to this, the campaign “Studying and following late President HoChi Minh’s moral examples” and Party build-up activities have receivedtheir active response.-VNA
